Call First provides you and your family with all of the information you need to make informed decisions when choosing a doctor or hospital.
Why do you need this information?
The amount that you will have to pay for your surgery or procedure will be different at every physician and facility. The quality may also be different. This is information you need to know.
How Does Call First Work?
When your doctor recommends a test or surgery that is elective (scheduled in advance), you have time to get information and make a decision on where you want that test or surgery performed. Call Patient Care at 1-866-253-2273 at least 15 days prior to the procedure or test and your Advocate will contact 2-3 network providers and get quality information along with the total cost, network discounts and your out of pocket expenses for each provider. The information is provided to you in the easy to understand format below.
